Welcome Back to my blog. I hope everyone enjoyed the paper flower tutorial from last week. If you missed it, check it out and let me know how you enjoy using your creations. Look on Instagram @sewmuchglitter for my favorite uses.
This past week was a perfect example of how simple projects, activities and everyday moments can help teach us about ourselves.
While I am eager to move far away from my injury and dive into the next chapter, my body reminds me…..NOT YET. I stepped into this week with vigor by enhancing my exercise routine. I added stationary bike time and some walks. I have been enjoying the practice of yoga this past year as it helps physically and I have found that it lifts my spirits too. I strongly suggest Julia Marie Yoga on Amazon Prime! While the stationary bike doesn’t put extra pressure on my darn foot, the walks do and I do not realize how much until days later. So, I am finishing out the week with an Epsom salt bath and Disney+.
Then there was Valentine’s Day. A day full of sweet treats and small reminders for those close to us. I had a lot of fun prepping for gift making and card creating. The final products are on my Instagram: sewmuchglitter I would love to share with you how I made my candy bouquets. While Pinterest has great ideas, I don’t always find the “how to.” Since it’s senior year in our household, the candy bouquets made me think that these fun gifts can be used for any occasion, themes included. I have enjoyed using the Dollar Tree as my “go to” for candy this week, especially since they amped up their variety for the holiday.
While your busy checking out my Valentine’s creations on Instagram don’t forget to hop on to view my story as I like to update it with ideas and inspirations. After you have done that come back here to my blog because my next post will be a fun and simple candy bouquet tutorial. HAVE A GREAT WEEK and let me know how you learned something about yourself this week.
